
Terms and conditions
At Erasmus Life Housing, we understand that plans can change. That’s why we’ve developed a transparent and fair cancellation policy for both students and property owners.
1. Cancellation before arrival
- Up to 30 days before check-in: Full refund of the amount paid, minus the service fee.
- Between 29 and 15 days before check-in: 50% refund of the total reservation amount, minus the service fee.
- Less than 14 days before check-in: No refund, unless for duly justified reasons (see Section 4).
2. Cancellation after arrival
If you wish to cancel after the start of your stay, you must contact our team. Any refund will depend on the contract with the host and the agreed notice period.
3. Cancellation by the host
If the accommodation is cancelled by the host before check-in, the student will receive a full refund and priority support to find a new accommodation solution.
4. Exceptional circumstances
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise (e.g., visa denial, serious health issues, changes to the mobility program). In these cases, we will review each situation individually upon receipt of supporting documentation. A partial or full refund may be granted, depending on the case.
5. How to cancel a booking
To cancel your booking, please contact our team by email at hello@erasmuslifehousing.com. Include your full name, reservation reference, and reason for cancellation.
